Default Back to the world of Tropheus

Hi all,

I live in London in the UK and have been keeping and breeding various types of fish for 15 years, focusing on Tanganyika and Malawi for the last 10 or so.

It's been a couple of years since used to keep and breed a Sp Black Kiriza F1 colony, I've been trying out various Malawis in the meantime, I have a successful breeding group of Salousi and Acei atm, but I've missed the constant movement colour and mayhem that is unique to Tropheus, so I'm jumping back in this week and picking up a group of 21 Sp Black Bemba F1.

I was also offered 10 Duboisi Maswa as a swap for the Salousi but I turned that down, as I wasn't convinced about keeping them with the Bemba, it's 90 gal tank so two groups would be a push, and would like to focus on breeding one group. I am considering keeping the Acei in with the Bemba or at least trying it out for a bit to see how they work.

Look forward to being active on the forum, lots of good stuff on here.

I've been fighting the urge for over a year now, successfully! I'm starting to break down now and look at setups again now that the weather is getting cold and I'm looking at a BIG empty space where a piano used to be, in my house..

I'm an addict, and not embarrassed one bit by it
