Go with a rena xp3 or 4, Eheim classics or an FX5. Don't waste money on other cans lol

I will go with rena Xp4 it cheaper than Eheim but it work great in tank 75 to 120Gal . I have 4 XP4 run in few tank for most a year and no problem at all just choose a good media that about it. The best place for XP4 http://www.petmountain.com/product/a...er-filter.html

Look for anyone that is selling an FX5 on Craigslist or local forums. It's worth a good $100-$125 and that will be easy decision for most to sell for that quick handful of Coin!

This is how I've purchased all 5 of mine.

You can buy hoses at the hardware store, I've done it even though everyone says you can't do it. $100 for both of em is good, if they're loud, don't get em.

I'm running 2 XP3's on one of my 150 gal and one XP3 + one XP4 on my other 150. They are bulletproof. My water is crystal clear and there's lots of flow to keep the water moving.
