I know a person who used to keep tropheus at a tank size of 14gal! (not 140gal but 14!). He started with 4 juveniles there and a year later he successfully made them spawn a few fries. They have already grown up and the parents spawn once in a while after that, so now he has a large colony of the tropheus. Check out the site below. I'm not sure if you have that kind of small tanks in your country, but I think it's worth trying.
