Jim, They are quiet to me.

But I run sumps on my tanks and therefor my idea of noise is different than people that don't.

My buddy just got his first Jebao and says its awesome. Great wave maker.

Although I have read bad reviews I currently have 5 Koralia spread over 4 different tanks and I have never had an issue. The oldest 2 I purchased in 2/13 so they have been running about a year and a half.

Maxi jet 1200 i had for so long i forgot lol.Plus i can find impeller's for them.Just has not got to that point yet.I also have a koralia.When it fails im just going with another maxi jet 1200..

I guess ecotechs are a saltwater thing. Lol. Oh well. Unmatched performance.

I saw the Jebao in action and it's quite impressive. But I think some if the best power heads are the Tunze. Expensive but all replacement parts are available.
