I've done occelatus with my trophs before don't underestimate them their tough little guys. Once they find a suitable shell they don't move far from it. As far getting enough food they'll get in the mix if hungry and i found mine would eat pretty much everything. They even bred some fry survived some got eaten but all in all i liked the mix.
