is it safe to add dolomite as a substrate to an already set up tank with trophs in it? the bottom is currently bare. how should i go about doing this? i dont have a seperate tank........
thanks! I spent hours washing it lol, my god its soooo milky! any ways i got it down to where i thought would be ok, and scooped it out with a strainer (worked awesome, i would suggest it to others) and lowered it into the tank. Worked well! some cloudyness but not allot, so i think (hope) they will be ok.... I did a 25% water change after as well.... just finished, now wating to the crystal clear water to return........

Amazing how much dust is in there. Your filters should get most of it and what they don't should settle out pretty quickly. Good luck, hope you like the results.
