Hello, my question is, can you place cory catfish in a tank (125) with tropheus without there being a problem?

I would not risk it, the corys would be Too slow to get away from the Trophs, in the event of harassment. I think the Trophs would tear them up in no short time. Just my opinion.

I had these with Mbuna and they tore these guys up, but they seemed not to miss a fin or two, poor guys.

I have had these with trophs before and from what i saw they completely ignored each other. The trophs had trophs to worry about and not some little fish that stayed hugging the bottom. It might also have helped they were skunk cories on white sand so they did tend to blend in fairly well from on top.

I bet Brochis splendens would be fine.
They are a much larger and hardier cory :)
