I will in the first 2 or 3 weeks feed them with the flakes I got with the fish from the importer. over time I will start feeding them with Shrimpmix and Sera Granugreen. Then it is not a problem to get a nice body on them. Espicaly Sera granugreen all my other petro are cracy with.

Wow!! :clapping: :clapping:

I'll say they were doing pretty darn good..... for them to be spawning and in the shape...

Please keep us posted as to if the female continues to hold her clutch. Will be interesting to see how many fry she spits out. Do you know what your ratio is yet???

I found it encouraging to see you use a bubbler on the side and it was the side they were spawning with.............. What kind of filtration do you use and water movers??? if any??

What size tank is yours???

Awesome!! Your doing awesome Kasper

Kristian: This group of polyodon is quite peacefull so far. I have not have one getting beaten up.

Billansor:
The group is on 25 pcs. 9,16.
The tank is a 530L (160x55x60 cm)
A filter I am using corner filter in each end. you can see one of them on picture number two from the top. In both ends I have a 40mm PVC tube and I have also and eheim 2078 canister connected, but only to have a stable bateria culture, when I change the corner filters.
The bubler is to give some extra air to the tank. Petros canīt get enough air.

The corner filter are driven by an airpump 3000 l/t At the moment this is delivering air to two 530L only.

Maybe i got this wrong but i thought that a bubler just transports the air from the room and makes bubbles. It does not enrich the water directly with oxygen like an Oxydator does. Well it does, but a very small amount when the bubbles 'explode' at the surface.
