Hi guys!

So it is done .. I went a 2 hour one way trip to get my Petrochromis kazumbe rainbow "Mpimbwe" today. I sold of my 2 Lethrinops groups to get them. When we went them there was 8 males and 8 females. Not the best ratio but I took them. I also got 32 Tropheus brichardi "Ulwile". I will try to get some shots tomorrow. I hope they dont start to kill eachother instantly. Wish me good luck!

Best regards

Good luck.

If you have alot of caves and rockwork you should be fine.

I will get some more rocks today! I wasn´t in a mood for collecting rocks yesterday when I had to drive for such a long time. All that I could say is that the group looked like a wolfpack yesterday .. hunting around for something to kill!!! They are beasts!

Some bad video clips from today, I am sorry for the bad quality. Pics will come tomorrow. I also got some nice big rocks from my secret stone place:) I will add the rocks tomorrow. There are zero agression between the petros but the small ulwiles fights like hell:)

Petros are cool, think you will be fine with the aggression, as for the brichardi they always seem just alittle more aggressive than other Trophs to me, but nothing major, Greg

Looks like a perfect specimen knowing that it was a recent wild import.

I have never seen any wild import come in fat/robust/full bodied..... Would rather it that way too. Nothing a little shrimp mix or NLS can't fix!

Mr. Johnson

that would depend on how long they been at the LFS.

I would not expect a full/fat/robust looking anything from Lake Tang from a LFS either.

Hi guys!

They are in a 540 liter tank. They went togheter with a group of pembas in the fishstore and my experience with keeping petros with trophs is that trophs are more aggressive at feeding time and eat more then the petros. They are already getting better and fatter so I am not worry.

either way, the fishes are in good hands now.

fatten them boys up and keep us updated.
